CREWE HERITAGE CENTRE GOES LIVE
Opened in 1987 by H.M. Queen Elizabeth II, the Crewe Heritage Centre was built to commemorate 150 years of the town of Crewe.
Whilst the Museum changed its name from The Railway Age in 2008, the centre is still very much a railway centre based on the LMS Yard for Crewe Railway Station.
Many enthusiasts visit the Centre to view visiting locomotives - some in steam. Others to view the LNWR Travelling Post Office and other exhibits.
