Adds the ability to use custom header images for individual posts, pages and all public custom post types.
The Custom Page Header Image wordpress plugin adds the ability to use custom header images on all posts and custom post type editing screens. You can use this to upload a custom header image for that post, or use another image from your WordPress media library. When you view that page on the front-end of your site, the default header image for your site will be replaced by the unique header you selected.
You can also set the height and width for the custom header image.
You must use a theme which utilizes the built-in custom header functionality of WordPress.
After you’ve downloaded and extracted the files:
- Upload the complete ‘custom-page-header-image’ folder to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- And you’re done!
custom-header theme support is required for this plugin.
Insert the following php into your `features.php` file.
add_theme_support( ‘custom-header’, array(
‘width’ => 300,
‘height’ => 100,
‘header-selector’ => ‘.site-title a’,
‘header-text’ => false,
You will need to specify ‘header-selector’ for the custom css to work.
